Summary
We are currently seeking full-time General Production Laborers for both Day and Night shifts at our Miami, FL location. This position requires that material including glass and metal be moved from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the product throughout the plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Handling glass and metal product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily
* Completing paperwork
* Attaching appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
* Performing work as assigned by supervisor
* Notifying the lead person or supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
* Maintaining a safe and clean work area
* The „team concept” instituted for plant facility production workers requires each worker to perform different functions on a rotating basis, therefore, all shop functions required by supervisors are considered essential functions of the job
* Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
Requirements
* Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
* Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
* Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
* Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs unassisted
* Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
