Conrad Yelvington Distributors, Inc. supplies and distributes aggregate materials such as granite, river gravel, limestone, natural sand, and more. This rail served aggregate distribution network covers Florida, Southern Mississippi, South Carolina, and Alabama.

Primary responsibility of the Lead Scale position is to coordinate, expedite, and track orders for the sales and accounting departments; record the weight and measurement of various transportation vehicles and materials; track yard inventory levels and prepares reports for the companys Inventory Control Department.

Job requirements include the following:
* Previous dispatching experience in building materials, construction or rail industry preferred.
* Ability to operate general construction equipment at the terminal when given training.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Complete miscellaneous jobs according to instructions given.

Education/Experience
* Requires a valid drivers license without any major violations within the last 3 years.
* Requires a high school degree/equivalent or a comparable amount of directly related experience.
* Basic understanding of computer and other office equipment. Microsoft Office suite of programs desired.
* Good oral and written communications skills

Summary

We are currently seeking full-time General Production Laborers for both Day and Night shifts at our Miami, FL location. This position requires that material including glass and metal be moved from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the product throughout the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Handling glass and metal product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily
* Completing paperwork
* Attaching appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
* Performing work as assigned by supervisor
* Notifying the lead person or supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
* Maintaining a safe and clean work area
* The „team concept” instituted for plant facility production workers requires each worker to perform different functions on a rotating basis, therefore, all shop functions required by supervisors are considered essential functions of the job
* Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Requirements

* Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English

* Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
* Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
* Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs unassisted
* Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
